No-Show Policy
Showing up is one of the most basic forms of respect on Codebasics Angels. Every missed session without adequate notice wastes another person's time and lowers trust across the community.
- What counts as a no-show: Not attending a confirmed session, or cancelling within 3 hours of the scheduled start time.
- Who it applies to: Both mentees and mentors. Either party can be marked as a no-show by the other after a session.
- Consequences: Accumulating 2 or more no-shows in a calendar month will result in a temporary suspension of your Codebasics Angels account. Repeated patterns may lead to a permanent ban.
- Mentee no-shows: When a mentor reports a mentee as a no-show, the mentee's no-show count is updated and visible to the platform team.
- Mentor no-shows: When a mentee reports a mentor as a no-show, the report is reviewed by our team and the session is marked accordingly.
- How to avoid it: If you need to cancel, do so more than 3 hours before the session. Open communication is always better than a silent no-show.
Enforcement
Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban depending on severity. All decisions are made at the discretion of the Codebasics Angels team.
