Using the Platform

By using Codebasics Angels, you agree to these Terms. The platform is free and connects learners with experienced professionals across all industries who volunteer their time. Mentors are not paid employees of Codebasics. We do not guarantee the availability or outcome of any session.

Accounts

You sign in via Google OAuth and are responsible for all activity under your account. Provide accurate profile information. Impersonation or fake accounts will result in immediate termination.

Mentor Responsibilities

• Keep your profile and availability accurate and up to date.
• Attend confirmed sessions on time and fully prepared.
• Offer honest, constructive guidance. Do not promote paid services during sessions.
• Respect mentee confidentiality.

Mentee Responsibilities

• Book sessions only when you genuinely intend to attend.
• Join on time with specific goals or questions prepared.
• Cancel promptly if you cannot attend, out of respect for the mentor's time.
• Award Karma Points honestly.

Karma Points & Badges

Karma Points are a community recognition system with no monetary value. They cannot be transferred or redeemed. Badges (Bronze, Silver, Gold) are awarded automatically based on sessions completed. Manipulating Karma Points may result in account suspension.

Prohibited Conduct

• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against any user.
• Posting false or misleading information.
• Soliciting payment or promoting external services.
• Scraping platform data or attempting unauthorised access.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
